Elder Fraud in Georgia

Elder Fraud in Georgia has become a very serious problem, as it has nation-wide.  I have seen people victimized in my practice and in my personal life.  It is estimated that older Americans lose $2.9 billion a year to fraud.  According to Denise Voigt Crawford, past president of the North American Securities Administrators Association “Elder financial abuse is becoming the crime of the 21st century”.  This article tells the story of one family’s experience dealing with Elder Fraud.
